The Body Language of Flirting

Do you want to know if she likes you?
Are you unsure if he is interested in you?

For most people, the answers to these questions is a definite yes, and so here are some of the signals that show whether the other person was intending to flirt with you or not.

  • Playing with her hair : This sign is only associated with girls. When a girl wants to flirt with someone or when she finds him particularly interesting, she may start to play with her hair, twist it and flicker it. This could happen once or several times during the conversation, and the more the better.

  • Pupil size: When someone sees something or someone that he likes, his pupil size gets bigger!! I know that this is a bit hard to notice, but with training you will be able to detect these slight changes in pupil size and so know if someone likes seeing you.

  • Pointing towards you with his toes or feet: If he wasn't sitting right next to you then most probably he will be pointing to you using his feet or toes. An even better case is when he totally faces you with his whole body.

  • Seeing teeth in his/her smiles: A smile should be wide enough to reveal at least the front teeth, otherwise it may have been a fake smile or a smile for the sake of being polite and nothing to do with you at all.

  • Clothing: A girl will generally try to wear the best clothes she has when she is aware that you are going to be there. By just asking her about her favourite colors or clothes you will be able to notice if she wears them often when you are around.

Many More Signs

Wanting to flirt means that the person finds you particularly interesting and that’s why I strongly recommend reading the section about the "state of being interested". In addition to the above signs, you can use these signs of interest to make sure whether someone wanted to flirt with you or not.

Did that help?

Yes, take me to the "state of interest" page.

Yes, but what are the signs that show that someone loves me?

I know nothing about body language. Take me to the body language main page.
